Most items in our shop (other than our handcrafted jewelry) are created via Print-on-Demand. We create the images, but a vendor prints the items, one at a time, and ships them out for us. This is very helpful because although we are highly creative people, we are too ill most of the time to be able to do any of this ourselves.
Each item is individually printed. This process costs a bit more, but helps to reduce the waste that is choking our planet. Items are printed in 2-5 days and then shipped.
T-shirts are created with Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing, a method that sprays ink directly onto garments and is similar to printing on paper. DTG-printed designs soak into the clothing fibers, so they do not crack and do not feel stiff and uncomfortable. Designs are printed using non-toxic vegan inks that are safe for adults and children.
Our vendor assures us that the printing machines are energy-efficient, produce zero wastewater, and are a sustainable choice. Mugs are printed using dye-sublimation.
Please note that, in order for light-colored designs to show up on dark T-shirts, the vendor prints white underneath, so it is possible that the design will appear a bit lighter and less intense in hue, kind of grayed out. Picking a lighter color will ensure you get bright and fully saturated colors.
We have done our best to choose consistently high-quality vendors who create quality printed materials. Please let us know if you have any issues, and we will do our utmost to address them.
Please do choose sizes carefully. While we are happy to address any problems with materials or printing errors, our vendor does not accept returns of items that are simply the wrong size.
We hope you will enjoy your items for many years to come. And if you have suggestions or ideas, please contact us!
