J156 Small Rosarita Heart Pendant

This sweet little sterling silver heart pendant features rosarita, a stone that is rapidly becoming highly popular in the world of jewelry.

Rosarita is a by-product of gold smelting. When heated to high temperatures, the gold from the ore sinks to the bottom while the rest of the ore solidifies into a red rock. Rosarita was once discarded, but jewelers have discovered it as an eco-friendly alternative to red coral, which (sadly) is increasingly rare.

Rosarita has a lovely high gloss, and the stone in this pendant has beautiful striping.

Handcrafted in sterling silver and comes with a sterling silver chain.

Length 1-1/8″ with bail (3/4″ without), width 11/16″, 0.14 oz.
